![]() Grades are given for in class assignments, projects, tests, and occasional homework assignments. Progress reports are sent at the middle of the 9-week grading period. Parent Conferences are scheduled at the end of the first and third grading periods to discuss progress. Reading: Given by the SFA teacher 20% Read and Respond 20% Words out loud/Vocabulary 20% Oral Expression/Fluency 20% Story Test 20% Participation/Active Listening Students are required to read a minimum of 80 minutes each week. Parent signatures are needed for students to receive credit for reading. 80 minutes = 100% 60 minutes = 75% 40 minutes = 50% 20 minutes = 25% Citizenship: We will have a citizenship grade this school year. 0-4 marks in behavior folder = Excellent 5-9 marks in behavior folder = Satisfactory 10-14 marks in behavior folder = Needs Improvement 15 + marks in behavior folder = Unsatisfactory |
