The Stacey Girls' team really stood out at the Bobcat Relays as a handfull of girls scored enough points to tie for second place. In the 3200 meter, Tawnee Wimsatt place first running the six-lap course in 9:22.30. Jennifer Zimmerman added to the point total in this event taking third in 10:30.28. In the sprints, Shana Holmes took first place (13.94) followed by Cordia Havertin in third (15.46) and Brittany Thornton in sixth (15.74). In the 200 metrer, these young ladies were even more impressive as Shana once again placed first (27.03), Brittany tied for second (29.47) and Cordia took fourth (29.78). Most amazing though was this trio's performance in the 400 meter where they took first, second and third positions (Shana - 1:03.82, Brittany - 1:06.28, Cordia - 1:07.45). In the field events, Cordia took fifth in the long jump (12'). Finishing out the night, was Tawnee and Jennifer in the 1600 meter (second - 5:59.60 & fifth - 6:36.22).

Devante Allen had some good jumps but had a difficult time hitting the board on take-off as he scratched on several of his jumps.
