6th grade is divided into two highly qualified teams.
Students will either belong to the Street/Cox Team or the Torre/Rigby Team .
Core areas include an integrated English Language Arts / Science class taught by Mr. Cox or Mrs. Torre and a Math class taught by Ms. Street or Mrs. Rigby.Social Studies will be taught twice a week by the homeroom teacher.
Students will travel with other students in their homeroom and rotate through the core classes, getting 80 minutes of instruction daily in each. On occassion, these classes may be shortened or this schedule may be modified due to special events (like ceremonies, half-days, STAAR testing days).

7:45 -7:55: Arrival/Morning preparations
Please note that the official start of the day is 7:50. Anyone arriving later than that time will be considered tardy and must stop at the office for a pass before being allowed to enter class, including admittance to SFA.
9:35-10:55: 1st Rotation
10:55-12:15: 2nd Rotation/Homeroom
12:20-12:50: Specials Classes:
1:00-1:30: Lunch/Restroom Break
1:40-2:25: RTIntervention / RTEnrichment
2:30-3:15: PE at the Youth Center Gym
3:15: Dismiss/end of school day
