What is Moodle?
The focus of the Lackland's Moodle project is always on giving educators the best tools to manage and promote learning, but there are many ways to use Moodle:
- Elementary teachers are using Moodle to augment their face-to-face classes. This is known as blended leaning. Some of them are using many of the Activity Modules (such as Forum, Databases, and so on) to build collaborative communities of learning around thier subject matter.
- Others teachers prefer to use Moodle as a way to deliver content to students and assess learning using assignments or quizzes.
- No matter how a teacher configures the activities, Moodle is a safe and secure environment for our students. No one may get into a course unless they have been enrolled.
- If you have a child enrolled in a course, Parent accounts can be created upon request. Parents will be able to log in with their own account and view their child's grade and activity report in the course.
