Staying Connected with Parent
Connection
Lackland ISD parents/guardians are
welcome to view their children's grades and attendance online for the 2009-2010
school year. This is a great tool for monitoring your student's
academic progress and attendance. This resource is available 24
hours a day, 7 days a week for students in both the elementary and secondary
schools via the Internet.
There are 3 steps to using Parent
Connection. First you create your Parent Connection account by going
on-line. Second you will add students to your account. Third is
the on-going management of your Parent Connection account.
Note: If your Parent Connection
account is not use for a 30 day period it will become inactive and access will
be denied.
Our teachers' web pages have a link
to "GRADESPEED" as one of their menu selections. This is the easiest place to
begin creating your parent account. The URL is http://web.lacklandisd.net/gs
which will take you to the "Sign In To GradeSpeed.NET" web portal you will use
for access to Parent Connection. Access to Parent Connection
starts with on-line registration to create an account. If this is your first
time to access Parent Connection, you will need to click on the "Click here to
sign up" option and then provide appropriate identifying data.
Parent Connection accounts will be
limited to one per family. Children attending different campuses
must be enrolled under the same family account. Students are also encouraged to
access the Parent Connection through the family account.
Once a parent Connection account is
set up, parents may view grades by logging on the district's homepage at
www.lacklandisd.net and clicking on the
Parent Connection icon. You can get more detailed guidance about using Parent
Connection from our web site by following this link If you need additional help with creating or using your
account, please call Ruth Lewis, Jr/Sr High School registrar (357-5079 or
lewis.r@lacklandisd.net ) or Stevelyn
