Hello and Welcome! Together we can achieve great things.

I'm Ms. Cris Street and I will be teaching Math to all 6th graders this year. I will also be teaching an SFA class, level TBD.

My dad was a career Navy man and I still refer to myself endearingly as a "military brat". We moved every three years (spending a few in the late seventies here at Lackland) until we landed in Pennsylvania where dad was a recruiter and I was in junior high. I was fortunate enough to stay in that area through high school and college and I earned my BS in Mathematics Education from Indiana University of PA and my teaching certificate. I recently acquired my Masters of Art in Teaching from Saint Mary's University.

I've lived in Hondo, Texas since December 1993 and have been teaching middle level Math (6th, 7th, and 8th grades and Algebra I) for eighteen years. I started my career at Somerset where I spent nine years then moved to Medina Valley for four years. This is my 6th year with 6th graders here at Lackland.
