Lesley Denny is in her fifth year as an Instructional Technologist at Lackland ISD. Working with sixth through twelfth grade students and teachers, Lesley facilitates the use of technology in the classroom. Current projects include 24/7 1 to 1 computing with laptops for the high school; 1 to 1 computing for 6-8th grades with Think Pad laptops for classroom use; use of the TI-Navigator wireless calculator system in all high school math classrooms; and the implementation of 5-12th grade monitored email accounts.
Lesley attended the University of Texas at Austin and earned her bachelor's degree in Education and History at Wayland Baptist University. She is certified to teach grades 1-12 and spent most of her 9 years in the classroom in grades 6-8. Lesley is a certified District Technology Specialist. |

Kim will begin her 1st year as an Instructional Technologist at Lackland ISD. She plans to continue to provide ongoing, sequential technology professional development to the faculty as well as integration strategies and ideas to incorporate technology seamlessly into the classroom curriculum.
Kim has 17 years teaching experience in elementary education, all at Lackland ISD, and she has served as the Advanced Academics Coordinator for Lackland Elementary for the last 7 years. She is certified to teach grades 1-8.
She attended St. Mary's University here in San Antonio and received her bachelor's degree with highest honors in Interdisciplinary Reading. She has numerous professional development hours and certificates in the areas of gifted ed, reading, science, math, and technology and has earned several awards and honors during her teaching career.
