The Lackland ISD Board of Trustees will hold a public meeting on May 27, 2008 at 6:00 pm in the Board Room, of the Lackland ISD Administration Building, 2460 Kenly Building #8265, Lackland AFB, Texas. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the school district's budget for the 2008-2009 school year. Public participation in the discussion is invited. Immediately following the Public Hearing, the Board of Trustees will hold a public meeting that will include in the agenda an action item to adopt the 2008-2009 budget.
A proposed budget summary that includes aggregate per student spending on instruction, instructional support, central administration, district operations, and debt service is posted on the district’s website at: www.lacklandisd.net. A comparison of the proposed budget to the prior year’s actual spending is also posted on the website. |
