This is Vickie Johnson’s second year at LISD as the GT District Facilitator. She comes to us with 15 years of teaching experience from 3rd-8th grade, with 3 years as a Math Specialist and 1 year as a campus GT Coordinator.
Vickie attended UTSA for her undergraduate degree and Texas State for her graduate degree in Elementary Education. She is certified to teach grades K-8 and ESL. She has extensive experience in the GT classroom at various grade levels and has delivered professional development in gifted education. For the last 4 years, Vickie has instructed future teachers in the Alternative Certification Program with Texas Teaching Fellows. She has earned numerous accolades for her performance during her career. |
