Any student living on Lackland or Lackland Annex may register for school. Prior to registration vaccinations must be up-to-date. The school nurse will check all immunizations records on the day of registration. We do advise that you check with the immunization clinic prior to insure that shots are up-to-date.
Please bring the following when you come to register your child: immunization records, birth certificate, social security card, military ID card, proof of residency (lease or letter from housing office) and previous school report card and state testing scores. For any high school student it would be very helpful to bring the student's transcript so the counselor will know all the high school classes taken.
If you are the student's guardian you must provide legal proof of guardianship.
For students living on any other military installation, a transfer application must be completed and approved before a student may register. Transfer applications may be obtained at the office. If you are applying for transfer you will need to submit with the application the following documents: proof of activie duty military status and assignment to Lackland Air Force Base, proof of residency, copies of each student's immunization record, must recent report card, state testing scores and transcript, social security card, birth certificate and if applicable a copy of the student's I.E.P. These applications will be processed by the administrators and families will be notified as soon as possible.
