Room 1818 HAPPY NEW YEAR! Early Release Jan.18,1:00 pm We will have a fantastic 2012-2013 school year. I have a strong passion to do that with our terrific children at our school! I teach 1st grade in Room 1818 and am ready to begin my eleventh year at Lackland with an awesome group of students! Wow, this will begin year 21 of teaching! Time flies! I've lived most of my life in Ohio and taught there for eight years after graduating from Kent State University. I moved to Florida and was teaching there until we were transferred to Lackland. I love it here at Lackland and am proud to be a part of this wonderful school system. I'm already looking forward to a terrific school year! We work hard in class and treat each other nicely. We learn many new things and the students make me happy to come to school each day. Each day always brings something new. Kids make it a joy to come to work! Sure everyone encounters those "challenges" in school with something, but we face them together with confidence! We're all in this together. We love to see you all here at school!
