Ms. Nugent graduated from St. Joseph College, Emmitsburg, Maryland with a BA in Elementary Education.

From UTSA, she obtained her MA in Bilingual/Bicultural Studies concentrating in ESL. She has been teaching for
25 years. She has two daughters living on opposite coasts! Two dogs and two horses complete her "family." Horseback riding is her passion. She also enjoys hiking and is a beginner kayaker.
