Mr. Knobloch was born in Bastrop, Texas in 1981. He attended elementary school and obtained his high school diploma in Giddings, Texas, where the majority of his family has lived for the past 70 years.  Shortly after high school, he graduated from Sam Houston State  University in Huntsville, Texas, with a degree in English and a certification for teaching secondary education. After his time at the university, he joined the teaching staff at Livingston Junior High School in the piney woods of East Texas. In efforts to relocate nearer to his family and friends, he now teaches freshman and junior English at Lackland ISD. In addition to his teaching role, he has the pleasure of sponsoring the class of 2013.  He is excited for their upcoming graduation and the new school year. When he is not at school, Mr. Knobloch enjoys the company of his beagle, Stanza, and traveling. His most recent journeys have taken him to most of Europe and Hawaii.
