I have been a special education teacher at Lackland ISD for 26 years and have the distinction of being the teacher with the greatest number of years in education (40.) I have a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University and a masters from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before coming to Texas, I taught in North Carolina, Okinawa, and even Saudi Arabia.
