IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION (ISS) Students that have not follwed the Student Code of Conduct rulls will be responsible and expected to complete all assignments given by their teacher for the number of day or days they will be in ISS. IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION (ISS) Reasons for ISS Student may be placed in ISS for misconduct listed in any category for the SCC. Procedure Tor ISS The sudent will be informed of the reason for placement in ISS and be giving an opportunity to respone before the administrator's decision is final. While in ISS the student will complete assignment for his or her teacher. OUT-OF-SCHOOL SUSPENSION (OSS) Reason for OSS Student may be suspended from school for any misconduct listed in the SCC as a general conduct violations,DAEP offense, or expelliable offense. Procedures for OSS The student will be informed of the reason for out-of-school suspension and be given and opportunity to respond before the administrator's decision is final. While the student is suspended, the administraitor may place restrictions on the student's participations in school-sponsored or school-related activities. Students may be suspended for a maximum of three school days per behavior violations with no limit on the number of times a student may be suspended in a semester or school year. DRESS AND GROOMING The district's dress code is extablished to teach grooming and hygiene, prevent disruption and mimimize safety hazards. Student and parents may determine a student's personal dress and grooming standards provided that they comply with the following:
