Hi and welcome to my class and Lackland Elementary.

I was born and raised a military brat in the Air Force. Born in Germany I have PCS'd 14 times and lived many places from McClellan AFB in California to Tyndall AFB in Florida.

I have a brother that also picked the military life and has retired in Virginia.

I attended Florida State University right out of high school and later furthered my education by earning my masters in early childhood education at Valdosta State University.

I have been teaching for 12 years and have experience teaching pre-k to sixth grade.

I am very proud of my family. My son Keith attends O'Connor High School in Helotes and my daughter Krista is going to attend college in Illinois. My husband now retired from the air force, works here on Lackland AFB teaching adults and training dogs. All three of us volunteer at Last Chance Forever Bird of Prey Conservancy in our 'spare' time. My extended family includes two horses that currently reside on Lackland stables.
