Transportation Services

The Lackland ISD transportation department provides safe, professional, and efficient transportation to and from school, educational field trips, and athletic events.

Bus services are provided for students residing more than two miles from the school campus, including all housing on the Lackland Training Annex (west of Loop 410).  Students are also transported to the Military Special Education Cooperative at Ft. Sam Houston, approximately fifteen miles from Lackland ISD.

 COVID 19 Safety Precautions:

Students will be required to register for bus transportation. 

Students will be required to wear their mask while at the bus stop and during the entire duration of the bus trip.

Students will be assigned seating and families from the same household will be allowed to sit together.

District Staff will perform health screenings of all bus riders using district screening tools upon arrival at school.

Buses will be cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis after each trip

 General Bus Rules

Eating or drinking is not allowed on the bus or district vehicles.

All bus riders are required to wear safety belts.

Students are required to be at their bus stop on time.

No disruptive loud talking is permitted.

Students must stay in their assigned seating.

Students are not allowed to touch others (keep your hands to yourself).

All classroom rules apply on the bus.
