Last Friday on November 15, 2019 the annual Lackland ISD Fall Festival took place on campus grounds. Sponsored by the PTSO, the festival is an opportunity for clubs and classes to raise money by setting up games, activities, selling food, etc. Every time you and your child participated in an event or bought food with your tickets, know that you had a part in the fundraising and growth of the school! It seemed that everyone had a good time. Some of the booths this year were Ms. Duron’s fish booth, Yearbook’s cupcakes, StuCo’s Dippin’ Dots, Spanish Club’s Mangonadas, PTSO’s shirts, Teen Leadership’s Cake Walk, Freshman Frito Pies, Sophomore’s Pizza, Junior’s Duck Game, and Senior’s Sweets. The Elementary School had Ring Toss, Giant Jenga, Bowling, Potato Sack Race, and the Egg Race. Ms. Polis, the junior class sponsor says that the Fall Festival is “an amazing community building opportunity.”
