Lackland ISD honored this years retirees with a beautiful ceremony at the Lackland ISD auditorium. The 2022 - 2023 retirees are Mary Friday, Patricia Horne, Rosa Linda Santoya - Lane, Jania Nicholson, and Michelle Thompson. Emceed by Stacey Social Studies teacher Mr. Juan Navedo, family, friends, and colleagues gathered to celebrate the accomplishments and dedication of the honorees. Retiress were presented with beautiful rocking chairs so they could really enjoy their time off relaxing. It was a wonderful ceremony concluding with the distribution of service pins to current employees. After the ceremony everyone gathered in the Cynthia Lyon Center to enjoy amazing food and cake while door prizes were handed out. Thank you to our excellent food service, custodial, and maintenence teams, as well as the superb retirement committee for making this another wonderful event!
