The Bots in Blue had a great experience at the UIL State Robotics – Best Division Championships in Frisco, TX and, represented the Stacey Jr. / Sr. High and Lackland ISD well.
Out of 347 school that began the BEST competition this year in Texas and New Mexico, the Bots in Blue finished the head-to-head portion in 41st place overall (72 teams were invited and 64 participated in the championship).
They earned a 9th place in the head-to-head portion in the UIL 1A-4A Division and 4th place among all 2A schools in the state.
In the process, they earned the first Star for the school this year in the UIL Lone Star Cup.
The competition was more than just robot performance in the game, the students excelled in the other areas and are ranked Nationally in all areas.

Engineering Notebook: Top 21% nationally
Spirit: Top 24% nationally
Game: Top 44% nationally
